Under the Government Health Act 2006, a complete smoking ban will be enforced in all enclosed areas within business premises, public places and company vehicles. An A5 sized sign or larger, must be displayed at all entrances of buildings stating "It is against the law to smoke on these premises".
Company vehicles that are used by more than one person must also display a “No Smoking” sign in each compartment of the vehicle in which people can be carried. The sign must show the international "No Smoking" symbol no smaller than 70mm diameter.
